A nonprofit is like an infant. In many ways, nonprofits remind me of a young child who is unable to do things on their own. They need support, they need assistance, and they need to grow. In the case of Gateway House, we only do that through the partnerships and support of our donors, volunteers and staff. Throughout the month of November, we will be highlighting our staff and thanking our volunteers culminating in a Giving Tuesday opportunity to donate in support of the mission of providing free comfort care to terminally ill patients during their final days and supporting their families.
